This 6-week course will introduce the fundamental technique and exercises of the Pilates matwork through a weekly in-person class. It is suitable for absolute beginners and/or anyone returning to Pilates after a long time off. Pilates is a system of exercises that co-ordinates breathing and movement to develop deep core support, flexibility and all-round health and wellbeing in a safe and accessible format. It is particularly helpful in supporting lower back pain, shoulder/ neck pain and post-injury recovery.
